What might we see at May’s State of Play?

In the past week or so there have been a couple of rumours of what might be revealed during May’s State of Play. Reliable leaker Dealabs has stated that we will hear more about Firewalk Studios’ Concord. This seems highly likely considering that the podcast will feature PlayStation Studios games arriving this year.

Also rumoured to possibly make an appearance at this State of Play is a new Astro Bot game. This is one I am really excited about. Again, this comes from Dealabs so it is highly likely to be accurate. Dealabs states that a new Astro Bot game is to be revealed soon. This ties in with Jeff Grubb’s rumour that he thinks a new Astro Bot game is happening this year. I think it is very likely that we will get a new Astro Bot game revealed during the State of Play, 90% certain. The only downside is that Dealabs seems to think that it will be on PS5 only and won’t be on PSVR2.

Silent Hill 2 is also rumoured to be featured at this State of Play. This rumour also comes from Jeff Grub, who has accurately predicted that there would be a State of Play this month. Grub heard back in April that there would be a State of Play in May and it would feature Silent Hill 2. Silent Hill 2 has been available for pre-order from Amazon UK for a while and Konami recently announced a new Silent Hill Transmission event for the same day as the State of Play.

At the time of writing the State of Play is only about 14 hours away. And with 14 games packed into 30+ minutes, it’s sure to be a jam-packed spectacle of pure awesomeness.
