PlayStation Release New Destruction AllStars Trailer Ahead of PS Plus Release

Meet Your AllStars

New Destruction AllStars trailer ahead of free PS Plus outing next month.

PlayStation has released a new Destruction AllStars trailer ahead of the games free outing on PS Plus next month. The trailer called Meet your AllStars showcases some of the games charismatic competitors.

The description for the trailer says that there are 16 AllStars that make up the roster of competitors vying for the Global Destruction Federation Championship.

I only counted 7 characters in the trailer, however, the official PlayStation website does state that there will be 16-player online matches. The description on the PlayStation website also says there will be a “storied single-player series, specifically tailored to a number of playable Destruction AllStars.”

Destruction AllStars was originally supposed to release alongside the PS5 in November but Sony delayed the game to give it a bit more polish. As it seems to be mostly an online multiplayer game, it probably would not have had many players right at PS5’s launch. So saving it as a free PS Plus game was certainly a good idea.

The game looks pretty fun from the trailers so far. Looks like a mix of Destruction and Derby and Twisted Metal. The characters seem to have there unique signature moves and vehicles that you can use to cause mayhem and wipe out your competitors.

No doubt we’ll be seeing a lot more of Destruction AllStars before it’s released as a free PlayStation Plus game next month. Destruction AllStars will only be playable on PS5 and it looks like there won’t be a PS4 version.
