The PlayStation Blog has announced that this year’s Days of Play celebration will start tomorrow, May 29th. There will be player activities, bonus game catalogue titles, PSVR2 games on PS Plus Premium and the usual host of deals and offers.
Days of Play Deals
As with all Days of Play events, there will be plenty of deals to be had on games and PlayStation hardware. Some of the hardware and game deals include the following deals available through PS Direct and some retailers.
- £40 off PS5 consoles
- £90.00 off of PSVR2, PSVR2 is now only £439.99
- Discounts on select games including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Discounts on digital games across the PlayStation Store
- Discounts of PS Plus memberships for new members
PS Plus & Community Challenges
As well as a wealth of awesome deals and offers Days of Play also brings loads of extras to PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Stars.
There will be three community challenges where PlayStation players will work together to reach goals that will unlock PlayStation Stars’ rewards. You can find out more about the community challenges on the Says of Play website.
For players who have signed up to PlayStation Stars, there will be exclusive campaigns with digital collectables to earn. There will also be exclusive campaigns for PS Plus members that focus on the games available through PS Plus during Days of Play.
PlayStation Plus is also getting a boost thanks to this year’s Days of Play. PSVR2 games will be heading to PlayStation Plus Premium for the first time, the following PSVR2 games will be available from June 6th.
- Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord
- Walkabout Mini Golf
- Synth Riders
- Before Your Eyes
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapters 1 & 2
Walkabout Mini Golf and Saints & Sinners are excellent games and should be played by anyone who owns a PSVR2 headset.
PS2 Classics
Do you often reminisce about the early 2000s and the classic days of the PS2? Well if you do you’ll be pleased to know that some PS2 classics are heading to PS Plus Premium classic catalogue as part of this year’s Dyas of Play.
The following PS2 classic games will be added to the classics catalogue from June 11th.
- Tomb Raider Legend
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars
- Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
And that’s not all, there will also be some additions to the Extra and Premium games catalogue.

- Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 | PS4 (available May 31)
- Cricket 24 | PS4, PS5 (available June 5)
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | PS4, PS5 (available June 7)
